Moving on Up

Most legal blogs are full of case summaries, statutory updates and sage advice. This one is a little more personal for McKinnish Law Group, PLLC. Our firm began in 2008 with one location on Court Avenue in Downtown Sevierville, Tennessee. In 2012, in order to better serve our clients we opened a second location in Maryville, Tennessee. We heard our clients from the Blount, Loudon and Monroe County areas when they complained about the drive to Sevierville…especially the traffic in the fall and summer. In 2015, we purchased a building in Maryville which 5 which serves our East Tennessee clients from all over. The challenge we could not quite master was what size and location we needed to best serve our original client base in Sevierville, Tennessee. As downtown Sevierville parking became limited, we knew that our Social Security clients and our elderly clients were struggling when having to walk a block or two from parking to our offices and so we moved to our current location off of Middlecreek Road. While the Middlecreek Road location worked perfectly over the last four years in many ways – the location put a burden on our domestic and criminal defense attorneys who litigate extensively and need to be able to pop over to the courthouse at a moments notice. And so, McKinnish Law Group, PLLC proudly announces our return to downtown Sevierville. We have secured a location that is walking distance to the Sevier County Courthouse for our litigators and yet has an elevator and free, front door parking for our social security disability clients. We will be open for business in the BB&T Bank building located at 100 East Main Street, Sevierville, Tennessee Suite 404 officially on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 and are so excited that our Sevierville office will be back downtown and still be access friendly for our clients.
