Tegan Couch joined the Burton McKinnish team as a paralegal in September 2016. Tegan is now completing her final semester of law school at Lincoln Memorial University – Duncan School of Law, where she was named on the Dean’s List during several semesters. She received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Kentucky University. Tegan has more than fifteen (15) years’ experience working as a paralegal assisting with claims for injured and disabled individuals.
Tegan assists Burton McKinnish attorneys with Social Security files, keeps clients apprised of the progress of their claims, files disability appeals, and assists with hearing preparation. She also assists with legal research for the associate attorneys.
Tegan and her fiancé, Jerry, reside in Seymour and are the parents of two wonderful daughters, Landry and Leighton Burns. She remains involved in the Seymour community by assisting with youth basketball leagues, and volunteering at her daughters’ school, when possible.
